The Public and members of the media are invited to attend the 2019 Oath of Office Ceremony at Centennial Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 8. All newly elected and re-elected El Paso County officials and judges will be sworn in by Fourth Judicial District Court Chief Judge William Bain. The ceremony will take place before Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners.

The Normal Board of County Commissioners meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday immediately following the Oath of Office ceremony and reception.
At a separate service at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at New Life Church, Sheriff Bill Elder will be sworn in for his second term as the Sheriff of El Paso County. Additionally, all sworn and civilian staff, as well as all municipalities within El Paso County will take the Oath of Office at New Life, located at 11025 Voyager Parkway in Colorado Springs.
